TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ABOUT US

These terms apply to the websites, web pages and text message programs of Landmark Baptist Church, Inc. ("Landmark Baptist Church", "we", "us"), including the Landmark Baptist Church Bus Ministry. By using them you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years old to use our online services or sign up for text messages yourself. A parent or guardian may sign up for and manage the information of their children.

3. YOUR INFORMATION

Please give us accurate information and keep it up to date. How we collect, use and protect information is described in our Privacy Policy: https://landmarkbaptistchurch.org/privacy/

4. SMS / TEXT MESSAGE PROGRAM (LANDMARK BAPTIST CHURCH BUS MINISTRY)

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in — through our sign-up page (reached from a QR code your bus captain gives you, or from a link we text you after you text the keyword BUS to the number shown on our Bus Ministry text updates page, https://landmarkbaptistchurch.org/bus-texts/) or by another documented opt-in method — you consent to receive text messages from the Landmark Baptist Church Bus Ministry related to:

  • Pickup reminders the day before, with the time to be ready for the bus
  • Bus arrival time updates on Sunday morning when the bus is ahead of or behind schedule
  • Bus ministry announcements, such as a change of schedule or a cancellation
  • Replies from our bus captains and workers to messages you send us
  • Confirmation and informational messages related to your opt-in

Message frequency may vary; you will typically receive 1 to 3 messages per weekend, plus occasional announcements. Message and data rates may apply per your wireless carrier's plan. You can text HELP for support or STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation, and we will not send you further messages from this program. You may opt back in at any time by replying UNSTOP.

Only a phone number that our bus ministry has on file for a rider's family can sign up for that family's updates. To add or change a number, ask your bus captain.

We will not share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy: https://landmarkbaptistchurch.org/privacy/

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

Please do not misuse our websites or text programs: do not send unlawful, abusive or harassing messages, try to reach information that is not yours, or interfere with how the services work.

6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Some services are provided with the help of others (for example, text messages are delivered by Flowroute, a service of BCM One, and maps by Google). Their own terms apply to their services.

7. DISCLAIMERS

Pickup times are estimates. Traffic, weather and other circumstances can change them, and a text may arrive late or not at all. Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Landmark Baptist Church is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our websites or text message programs.

9. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Polk County, Florida.
